HOWEVER if powered off and allowed to cool down for a few minutes, or longer, ALL segments light OK for 5-10 minutes, then start to fail again. I'm guessing the LED driver IC is overheating, or something along those lines. Would it be possible to repair it, or purchase/adapt another timer of similar size and panel colour (white) ?
