I sent an email to ApplianceTimers.com explaining the situation and my conclusion. Howard Simons of ApplianceTimers.com emailed back and said that my conclusion sounded logical. He encouraged me to send in the timer/control panel for repair, stating that ApplianceTimers.com had successfully repaired many of these controls.Repaired
