Controls all seem to function normally most of the time except the same LEDs that show the failure code will instead, read OFF and all controls are non-functional at that point. Unit will sometimes correct itself and sometimes needs to be turned off and back on. Segments in one of the mentioned LEDs (furthest right) flickers dimly most of the time. Unit almost always goes into beep mode when the keypad is connected. I've left the keypad ribbon cable disconnected and the beeping problem has not usually happended. However, I have checked the membrane switches using a meter and all seem to be ok. I would consider the problem more likely to be the membrane switches if it weren't for the dimly lit, flickering LED segments, which are not affected by disconnecting the keypad.
