Dryer then started working but would overheat & shut off - but would re-start after cooling off for about 5 minutes and would repeat this cycle. Then had plastic blower fan replaced as it wasn't spinning well on motor spindle & they thought that this is why it was overheating. After this it still did the overheating cycle so they then replaced the dryer motor - still continues to overheat - they checked the dryer timer & found that the white jumper wires were hot - so they tried new jumper wires & now the dryer doesn't turn on at all - they said that the dryer timer must be bad but a replacement is no longer available - so I am hoping that you can check it out & see if it is actually bad and repairable if so.
