Louisiana, Louisiana | Aoes3030e | N/A | Buttons don't work oven cancel beeps bake, broil and clean clicks the relay | Awaiting receipt of timer | Redwood Falls, Minnesota | AOES3030E | Pre heat starting fa | Preheat intermittently stops and just shows time. | Awaiting receipt of timer | Appling, Georgia | AOCS3040SS | N/A | Local appliance tech checked control board and determined that board was bad and he stated that the relay built into the board was the problem. | Beyond Repair | Littleton, Colorado | AOCS3040SS | F1 | F1 code.... turn off all power... turned back on still has the code | Awaiting receipt of timer | Rome, New York | AOCS3040WW | none | when selecting any oven temp, heating clicks on for a few seconds and then clicks off. this appears to be a generic problem with this model oven's control board | Repaired | Orchard Park, New York | | F1 | Oven will not start in bake or broil operation. F1 code has appeared at least one time. The pre-heat cycle will be indicated on the timer for 10-15 secs and then you here the relays drop out and error occurs.
Tested the bake and broil elements for resistance - they checked ok.
Tested the temperature sensor room temp resistance and it was good.
I held the sensor with mu hand and watched the resistance go up indicating its ok - measured resistance at the connector terminal to the timer control board.
Checked over temp switch and it seems ok (closed circuit with elements) | Awaiting receipt of timer | Saint John, Indiana | AOCS 3040 SS | OFF | After a very brief utility company power outage, the timer display showed "OFF" and would not actuate anything other than a few clicks which sounded like relays. When reading some of the info on your website, it sounds like the board was damaged by a power surge. Hopefully the unit can be repaired and back to us by Thanksgiving on Nov. 26. We would most appreciate that. | Repaired |
