Calgary, Alberta | ww2780b-c | no code | Lower oven works well, while upper has symptoms:
* Press Bake - shows pre-heat for 10 seconds, then it all dies like Cancel was pressed.
* Press Broil - shows all normal for 10 seconds, than all dies like Cancel was pressed. Fan starts for this interval too. | Beyond Repair | Belmont, Massachusetts | WW2708B | No code, lower oven | Lower over will start to pre hear but won’t. | Beyond Repair | Exeter, Rhode Island | ww2780b | f3 or f7 | continuous beeping oven shuts off | Awaiting receipt of timer | Finleyville, Pennsylvania | WW2780 | F0 | Throws F0 code and can't get off the timer screen with continuous beeps. If reset power it will come back on within minutes or hours. | Awaiting receipt of timer | Calgary, Alberta | WW2870-B-C | No Failure Codes | When the keypad is pressed to BAKE, or BROIL on either the upper or lower ovens, a relay click (sometimes a chatter like rattle) can be heard and the oven displays "Preheat 140deg” in the display. After the desired oven temp is chosen, a small ON is added in the display below the Preheat 140deg. At this stage, the process shuts down and the bake or broil elements do not heat up. It is like the BAKE and BROIL relays are not receiving enough current from the control board to keep the relays closed.
All touchpad buttons work and give an audible beep when pressed. | Repaired | Evanston, Illinois | ww2780 | F1 | F1 error unless top oven is on set to lowest temperature (140). | Awaiting receipt of timer | Kinnelon, New Jersey | Cannot identify as numbers rubbed off ID plate | F2 | Top oven would turn on broiler until over temp alarm regardless of selecting bake or convection bake setting. Also bottom oven would intermittently (75% of time) try to heat then immediately shut off with no error code displayed. | Awaiting receipt of timer | Millersburg, Ohio | WW2780W | none | This is a double oven. Top oven works, bottom oven will act like it will start and show the preheat temp on display, but always kicks off in 30 seconds when turned on bake. When bottom oven broil is turned on, fan actually also starts, but again kicks off in 30 seconds. An appliance service tech said all over limits and other circuits are ok and said ECR was the problem. | Repaired | darien, Wisconsin | ww2780 | N/A | The lower oven heats intermittently, set the main panel to 375 clicks on starting at 40 degrees doesnt reach 375 maybe at 200 not heating lower oven to bake or broil. I checked sensor and that reads 1090 ohms. I believe the relay isnt working but as long as you have main mother board this should be checked as well the readings work on the display just won't bring to temperature. | Repaired | Campton Hills, Illinois | ww2780B | N/A | Constant beeping from unit. Does not remain on Bake setting to attain temperature setting. The letters FO appear in read out. | Awaiting receipt of timer | Campton Hills, Illinois | ww2780B | N/A | Constant beeping from unit.
