| Dec 06, 2019 | I have a Kenmore gas range. The time control board failed a couple of years ago. I bought a new one online and installed it, for a cost of about $200. After about 10 months, it failed as well. Unwilling to put my stove into the landfill when the burners worked fine, I went without an oven for 10 months. However, I had a cookie exchange coming up and needed to get my oven working. I found ApplianceTimers.com online. I was relieved to find a company that FIXES things, instead of replaces them. The fact that they were right here in Canada was another huge selling point. I sent them my old oven timer control board. Within a week, I had a repaired control board back, installed, and working! Could not buy a new one so I shipped it half way across the country to get repaired with no expectation of it being back before Turkey day. | Oct 03, 2019 |  Our problem was the knob to set the temp (and time) did not go up and down linearly when turned. It hops around, eventually landing on the correct temp (time) by trial and error. We had an appliance repair service say there was no way to get a replacement. I did have the repairman assist with removing the controller board with display so that I could be sure to put it back together. The whole process to what appears to be a completely new timer took about 2 weeks, most of the time consumed by shipping from the San Diego area to Canada. Not only is it working like new, but the knob for setting the timer had snapped off and we thought it could never be replaced. That was fixed and it wasn't something that we even asked for. I wish I had known about the service before we ended up spending $$$'s to get a repair person out to tell us he couldn't really solve the problem.Very satisfied! Karl Rudnick |

Since all of the multiple wires are attached individually to the timer rather than in a modern single multiple-wire snap-together wiring harness, I carefully labeled each wire and took cell phone pictures so I could put it back together correctly. Since a new timer is no longer available, I sent the old one out for repair, carefully reinstalled it and it works beautifully. | Apr 04, 2019 | Mid-February I was servicing a built in Oven made by CamCo that was about 20 years old. The problem was reported as oven starts to heat up but after a few minutes will turn off when it indicates 100 deg. I diagnosed the problem to a problem in the electronic timer. I spent about two hours, on-line, trying to find a replacement timer for this old stove that was built in to a very expensive wood cabinet. A new stove was going to be a last resort as there would have to be major renovations to the kitchen cabinets to accommodate a new modern stove. I did find companies that listed this timer, but all indicated “Sold out” or “Not available”. I did eventually land on ApplianceTimers.com web page and it was with much relief that they indicated they could repair this old timer. I contacted them and they replied with instructions on how and where to send the timer for repair. For less than $200 CDN - I received the repaired timer about 2.5 week after I shipped it to Appliancetimers.com. | Mar 24, 2019 | Our 20yr old Maytag Washer started acting up: the cycles worked so the timer motor worked but the Regular and Permanent Press cycles didn't engage the agitator. Gentle, Quick, and Soak all worked fine and the agitator behaved appropriately to those cycles. Local Tech came, agreed that the timer was faulty, but there were none available, the washer was obsolete! I found ApplianceTimers sort of via RepairClinic. Howard and his staff gave me an estimate, told me how best to ship it, they fixed the timer, and all exactly according to the estimate Howard gave me. It was great! A year ago January we contacted AT with inquiries, and in February sent in our timer for repair. (A local repair service removed the timer and subsequently reinstalled it.) Though shipping required some extra effort and cost the repair was performed quickly and we have been delighted with once again having a bright easily readable display. Appliance Timers' website is well structured with what needs to be done in order to get your part to them. In my case, the board arrived at Appliance Timers on a Thursday morning and I was informed the following afternoon that it was repaired and ready to be shipped back to me. As promised it arrived back in two business days. I reinstalled it and it has worked flawlessly for the past several weeks. I am not aware of the repairs details but it does carry a one year guarantee and I have little doubt that if it has worked so far that it should continue to do so. They sent very detailed instructions on how to pack and ship (follow these to the letter, will help avoid issues with US Postal Service) sending this to Quebec seemed to be a foreign concept them. I got part back within 10 business days which was great since I sent over Christmas holiday. Installed it myself. Works like new. All told spent under $300 between tech and repair. The older stoves have real self clean and hold temp better and many other great things. I believe my top broiler blew and took out the electronic timer with it. The display was poor also. Rumour was that this company could fix that too but I just wanted the electronic timer to function. My part was no longer available. Then I found this company. I removed the electronic timer. Kept the stove top working. Even tho there was a postal strike it returned very quickly. And the display was like new and the unit worked awesome. | Jan 09, 2019 | My timer was suffering with the often reported dim phosphorous display elements. It was especially bad with the red segments. Replacement timers were no longer being made so I sent mine in for repair and they replaced the display as well as a couple of defective relays. All good now! Thank you. Scott Hurst |
