This will make the third time I've posted this and so far all the post around me have been anwered but not mine? Am I doing somethingwrong? I have a Magic Chef Washer model number W20HN-23 that won't engage the spin cycle. It will go through all the other cycles on the clock, agitate, etc but will not spin on any of the segments. I have replaced the lid switch but it still will not spin. Now of course it's sitting with ta full drum of water. I can manually rotate the clock through the stages and all work except the spin. When the clock hits the spin there is no noise at all, no grind or hum just no spin and no drain. I turned the unit on it's side and checked the belt and the pullys and all appear to be OK. I can't find a fuse anywhere on the washer. I really don't want to replace the clock if that's not the problem. I am having problems and I think it is the clock /swith control. Washer fills, then it should start to wash(agitate) but doesn't all the time. You can here the clock clicking but it won't wash. If I turn knob over to perm press wash it will wash a little then stop, if I turn knob a little it will start again to wash. Then it goes thru spin cycle ok. If this control knob is bad , will that keep it from changing cycles? Quote: Lights and clock are off, no power. Power sources checked, fine. I have a jenn air double over model #W256, serial #844288bk. It was just fine yesterday when I used the broil setting. This morning there is no power. We checked the power sources which are on. What could be wrong? The oven is 20 years old. F1 code problem I also have a Model W256 that flashes the F1 code and beeps. Help! I noticed that my washer was not spinning on the extract cycles. I found that if I wait a few minutes, 10 or more and try the last spin cycle again by manually resetting the clock that it works fine. I had a similar problem about a year ago with " no spin " and it was the thrust bearing. It was replaced and it's still in good shape, so it looks to me like I have another problem. Can anyone help? In the gentle wash and regular wash nothing happens whenit hits the spin mode. In the Stain-Cleaner wash I can get it spin, but it doesn't quite completely empty the tub. I ran a full cycle setting it at what is supposed to be the Gentle Wash, but there was never any pause and it kept agitating right thru the spin and rinse portions. Also, how do I remove the agitator? Stephen My Jenn-Air double oven beeps and has an F1 error code. I kill the power and fire it up again and it works perfectly. At about 3AM it starts beeping and F1 code appears again. Same thing two days in a row. So, I remove the two small wire harnesses and no beeps...but limited functionality....lower oven works but not top oven. So I put back one of the smaller harnesses and in 10 seconds I get the F1 and beeps. Is this the clock module or the touch panel that needs replacing. Both are expensive so it would be great to know which one is the troublemaker. I want usb modem driver of samsung SCH W256 model for windows 7 F1 error code and constant beeping and oven shuts off. Hi, I have a Jenn-Air double wall oven, electric,Model W256. I was getting an F1 error code and the constant beeping so we replaced the circuit board. That seemed to work for awhile then I got the error code/beeping again. The oven will stay on for about 30 minutes then shuts off...We now think its touch control panel??? I have a Jenn Air Model # XXXXX my question would be what are the installation dimensions for this unit? Or the installation measurement for this unit? or full dimensions of this unit? When setting my oven to self-clean mode, the screen flashed f8 and wouldn't lock or do anything else but have a fan blowing. the model is : Jenn-air w256. help would be appreciated. My Jenn-air w256 oven does not come up to the temperature setting nor does it adjust temp. with changes in settings. The bake and broil elements heat up. I believe it's a sensor problem. Am I correct? How do I go about replacing It? we have a jennair model w256 double wall oven. when we turn the oven on to bake and set the temp. the preheat comes on for a few seconds and then shuts off. Originally we had a problem with the f1 code coming on. We would shut the breaker off and wait for 10 minutes before resetting it and then it would work. I haven't done anything to correct that problem either. My jenn-air W256 convection oven is displaying an "F8" signal. How do I fix this problem? have a jennair model w256 wall oven which is not working. Digital clock on program face still operating but rest of window stays dark. 230 v breaker still closed so oven should be getting voltage. is there an internal fuse ? thanks Why does our JENN-AIR W256 Bake and Convection Oven never get up to the temperature we set, but just continues to show a much lower temperature and shows that "Pre-Bake is on"? This happens every time, not matter if we select bake or convection. |
