I have a KitchenAid Double Built In Oven Superba KEBS277DWH1. The digitial screen keeps lighting up saying to SET PROB TEMP. Any insight on how to set the prob temp? Thanks!!
I recently helped install a KitchenAid double oven (model KEBS277BWH-0) that has been unused for several years(9ish). Upon initial power on, the ECR appears to operate correctly, but within a min or so the fault F-1 appears. I can clear it and if I start either oven (bake or broil) it will appear like it's running correctly, but neither will heat. I have looked for a replacement ECR but with no luck. Is there an equivalent part to replace it with or a commonly failed component on the card that would be replaceable? Is there anything else I should check before continuing down that track?
This is my second message (don't know if the first one reached you). I'm having trouble installing the new control panel I bought for this oven. I've removed the old one from the computer, and I can't seem to connect the ribbon (strip of 16 terminals) into the receptacle on the computer board. It seemes to be pinching the ribbon, and I can't get it to seat all the way in. Please advise ASAP. Marc Rosenblum
Lower oven only gets up to 200 degrees or so. I don't have a wiring diagram. Before I tare into it, should I be testing the heating element or the thermostat? I know how to test continuity but thermostat has 7 connections, not 5. Thermostat was replaced just a year ago by a friend (now deceased) and had a heck of a time finding a replacement as part is discontinued. Any help would be appreciated.
