I am trying to replace the clock,Oven Control on this model. I don't believe the replacement part is still available. Advice needed on how to remove the oven control module. Where is the power supply for this component located? Should this be checked also? Can I use the Bosch AP2836528 as a replacement sub? Otherwise I will remove and send the defective part in to be repaired. Any advice on how to disassemble the front of the oven to remove this part and a diagram of the unit? I have the Service manual. I had a service tech come out yesterday who had never worked on this unit and was unsure as to the best approach. I have a 14 year old Thermador GSC30B oven that works well except for a worn out display. Because of the low resolution of the image, I cannot tell which part I need from this diagram. I believe the display is all that is broken. The buttons still appear to work correctly: for example, I can turn on the oven, I just can't see the clock, clock, oven temperature, etc. What part number do I need to order? I Have A range Model Tappan Of 4 Burners And The clock Of The Furnace Was Disturbed To Me Does Not Work The Screen Of The Ignition Of The Furnace And Therefore I Do Not Have Working The Furnace But The Problem Is That Only Have The Model The Anus I Do Not Buy Myself Here And Already Was The range So Not Like Finding The Piece What Fails Is The Digital Screen Of Where The Furnace Ignites I have an older Thermador oven/range model GSC30CV. It is in great condition except that the igniters continuously click/spark. I have placed a call into the local service folks, who seem at a loss at to which parts/likely cause. They haven't made it out to me yet (out here in Maine). This has happened on and off in the past (especially with humid weather - we live near the shore). In 2004, they replaced the "power relay" but evidently that part is no longer available. They aren't sure that that is the cause anyway...any ideas how to proceed? my Thermadoro dual fuel #ESC30CV/GSC30CV too way too long to I have a Thermador GSC30CV gas cooktop/electric oven. Last night, with no controls on, the unit started an intermittent beeping and the control displayed an F-2 default code. After tripping the panel breaker, I could still light the gas burners manually. Kindly advise. I'd like to convert an old Thermador GSC30CV oven from natural gas to propane. Thermador no longer makes the SLPKit for the conversion and they could not give specs for the necessary hardware. Is this going to be possible? Trying to find a new griddle for Thermador model #GSC30cv. Or is there a substitute griddle we could use? I have an old thermador cook n vent oven modle GSC30CV. In the oven control window is a 4 error code. The oven top works fine, but the oven is unresponsive. This is the first issue I've had with the oven since we've had it. I have thermador GSC30cv. Recently I turned the knob for the fan while the oven was on. I heard a popping sound & briefly smelled something burning (like wiring maybe?). Now the electronic ignition of the burners doesn't work & neither does the display panel. I turned on the oven this afternoon & the controls worked (clock & thermostat) but the oven took about 2 hours to reach 345* F (it wouldn't even get to the set temp of 350*). Do you have any suggestions, thoughts about what is wrong & if it can be repaired. Is this something I might be able to repair myself, say by replacing fuse or such? Thanks in advance for any help, sugeestions. mb Thermador gsc30cv - oven and broiler stopped functioning. The component fan starts and then turns off in less than one minute. What is the best approach to repair? Thermador Model: GSC30CVB, Serial 93040671 oven Electric oven control panel, and oven, do not work (gas burners still fine). Smoke started coming out of the sealed control panel. It stopped burning with I turned off the circuit breaker. It's a built-in elec/convect/broil oven, 4 gas burners, elec. grill with metal cover. We need the downdraft because there is no way to install an overhead vent. The readout controls (time/temp) had been fading or losing connection for about a year, but strong or sharp pressure would fix it. I was washing the oven-top with soapy water when smoke started coming out of the front (sealed) panel cover. It is possible water MAY have trickled under the grill cover & reached the plug-in socket for the grill element. The front panel appears sealed. Repairman thought it needs a relay board. Can you send me a PDF that would show the parts layout or tell me how to get it. Can also you explain what happened? Thanks for your help! I noticed that the Maytag display AP367514 looks very simlar to the display of the thermador. Are they the same? Could I save $100 by getting just the Maytag display head. |
