Common problems for Frigidaire Electric Range CGES387CS1 Timer RepairAre you encountering a similar problem as them? Contact us now and we will try to help you fix your CGES387CS1 timer-related problem. I own a Fridigidaire slide in range model CGES387CS1. There is no oven heat on either Broil or Bake and with Convection Bake there is some heat but it is delayed. The Broil and Bake elements check out at 20 ohms with no ground. The temperature probe is 1076 ohms. The circuit breaker, switches, etc. on the wiring diagram XXXXXXXXX Rev A. all check out ok. It appears to be a problem with the Electronic Oven Control ES400, however, since this is an expensive part, I would like an independent opinion in case I am missing something obvious. (I'm getting voltage when the Broil/Bake controls are set to ON and can provide voltages at the ES400 teminals if that helps.) Frigidaire Gallery Series Model CGES387CS1 - both the baking and the broiler element wont come on, we checked the circuit breaker and thats ok. Can't visually see a break. We were cooking and then i noticed it wasnt working anymore, no smell, no noise....just silence...lol If one or the other element doesnt work, will both stop working? If there is a fuse, where would i find it? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated frigidaire during cleaning F1 error, model CGES387CS1, slide in model, when i put it on clean, last time it made a popping sound and wouldnt work anymore, had to replace control panel. Now again when cleaning it has malfunctioned, F1 error, and keeps trying to con't to clean, keep pushing cancel, tried unplugging it for a while, but it keeps -locking, cleaning, error code and beeping. this has got to be a defect but frididaire wont agree there is a defect. its like when being cleaned it gets too hot and affects the control panel. I had to pay $530 to repair last time! i could have bought a new range for that! now it is happening again and will cost $600 to fix! If there is a fuse, where would i find it? Any help on this would be greatly appreciatedWhen I turned on the oven, there was a flash from behind the clock, and then the circuit breaker blew. I remove the integrated circuit that is found behind the clock and part of it was melted. The part costs $320. I am wary replacing the part because I do not know the cause and am worried that the new one would blow too. If I get a technician in to replace it, it becomes his risk to replace the part, and so the total would be around $500 with tax. I am disappointed that this happened with a range that is less than 5 years old and now wonder if is it worth it to repai |
